Applewood Farm

It's Fall!  We decided to take Olivia to Applewood Farm today... there are just so many pumpkin farms around here, we had no idea where to go!  We figure we'll just have to try a different farm next year.  :-)

First, we came upon a little area where kids could drive around some tractors and rockets.  Hmm?  Olivia tried the rocket first and didn't like it.

Then, the green tractor became available...

Daddy helped wheel her around for a while...

Farm baby riding a tractor!  :-)

At this point, the little boy on the blue tractor was very upset that he couldn't get it to go forward and I think Olivia was fascinated by him.  The other little boy was patiently waiting for Livvie to step away from the little green tractor so that he could get on it.

Next, we went to the corn maze!

We didn't actually find another way out of the corn maze... we ended up coming back out the same way we went in!  Good corn maze, folks.  We may have been a little lost.  ;-)

Pumpkin fun!

Olivia and I being pumpkins!  :-)
Next, we went to the "petting zoo".  The only thing is that there weren't really animals that you could pet... we saw a big sheep named "Remington" that looked too large to walk and several miniature horses that people could feed but not really touch.  We moved on to the trains.  Chugga chugga choo choo!

After that, we went to the pumpkin area to check out the big pumpkins.  Kinda wish there had been a pumpkin patch!  However, Livvie was much more interested in the leaves on the ground.

Picking up leaves!

Feeling a pumpkin stem...

Silly upside-down baby!

Reaching OVER the pumpkins to grab a leaf!

These were the pumpkins we decided on... I think Livvie was okay with them.  :-)

All tuckered out...

Later on, we went to Annie's Playground and tuckered her out again.  I'll post more pictures tomorrow!  This was a lot of pictures for one blog post!  :-)
