My Little Leaper

So we went to the library today for the launch of the new 'Little Leapers' program... it's basically some great science and math curriculum boxes that are geared for young learners (infants-3 and then 3-5 years).  Very excited to rent them all from the library for FREE!  :-)

We got the box all about senses today... here's how Liv enjoyed it:

'Did you see me fall off the box?!'

'I will trap this waffle!'

Getting ready to watch some 'Super Why!'
As you can see, the box was waaaaaay more fun than anything inside... though she did play with many of the items for quite a long time.  I just thought the box pictures were pretty darn cute.  Hehe.

Liv putting crocheted flowers onto a wooden peg... she's so pretty!
"Pushups, Daddy!"

...and just for fun, here's a little video:

Oh!  Here are a few pictures from yesterday!  :-)

It's "Waff!"

Could NOT have been happier to be standing on that box lid.  Seriously.  *Giggle giggle giggle!*

Snow Day with Waff

Snow Day!!!!  Yep, at the end of March.  Right before Easter.  Maryland weather cannot be trusted.

We had fun though!  :-)

Livvie, ready to go sledding with her waffle.  Yes, her waffle.
So, we borrowed a shape sorting set of toys from the library that includes that soft, square waffle... and Liv has been obsessed with it!  Obsessed.  It's only been 2 days that we've had the set and she's slept with it three times, screams and cries if you try to take it away, and walks around saying, "Waff?" when she can't find it.

"Please can I take my waff?"  Hehe, she'd fallen and couldn't get up.
Snowball!

Soooooo bundled up!
I started a snowman-pile and showed Liv how to make a snowball.  After that, she walked around and picked up all the little pieces of snow that were shaped like balls and helped me add them to our "snowman".  Super fun!  She was so excited about every snowball!  "Ball!  Ball!  Ball!"

My favorite picture of the day.  "CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE!"

Boots.  Boy are boots fun!

Exhausted girl watching Super Why (her current favorite show).  :-)
I'm glad we at least got one good snow... it was a good day!!!

Growing Girl

I have soooooo many pictures to share... here goes nothing!

Cheese!  Now, when you ask Livvie to smile, she smiles!  Usually a big, old, cheesy smile that makes you giggle.  This picture was taken on a "Snow Day" where we got lots of rain.  We were ready with the sled from Grandma Joyce and Grandpa Ed!  Oh well!

Reading girl!  Magazines, books, everything... this girl LOVES to read.  Her current favorite books are Are You My Mother?, Barnyard Dance (because Mommy does an awesome reading of it), What's Wrong, Little Pookie?, Doggies, and anything with flaps or sliding pictures.

Goldfish fiend... ever since Liv has gotten over being sick (for the whole month of February-ugh!), she's been super into goldfish or "dish".  "Dish, dish, dish!"  If you open the pantry, expect a Livvie at your feet begging for some fish.

Balls!  Our friends, Liz and Charlie, from Stroller Strides made an awesome sensory box for Liv.  All she really wanted was the little fuzzy balls out of it.  So, I had her push them into that blue ball (it has small holes on either side of it).  It kept her busy for probably 20 minutes straight.  I'll take it!

Ponytail girl!  Her hair is so much longer now!  We can do ponytails on top of her head with no problem now... her hair needs to grow a bit more to get really good pigtails and ponytails in the back.  Can't wait!  :-)  Liv also likes to brush her hair, and Momma's hair, and lets me play with her hair all the time.  Love.

Balls!  Again, yep.  Balls in a muffin tin... Liv is getting better and better with colors and this was another activity that kept her busy for quite a while!  :-)
Hang on!  Hehe, Livvie has fun hanging onto Daddy while he gives her rides on his back (like a horsey-"neigh!") or exercising like in the picture.  Up, down, up, down... :-)

Eggheads!

Don't mind the tired look on my face.  Livvie devoured my apple!

We also spent a little time with Auntie Danyelle at the playground at the end of Annie's Playground, where there's quite a nice trail.  Thanks for the fun time and the great pictures!!!  :-)

Riding the alligator drum...

"Neigh!!"

Fun with Auntie Danyelle!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Cheeeeeeeeeeeese!  :-)

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Maleys... we had a leprechaun visit us and leave a pot of squishy letters!

More updates soon... I've been trying to get my phone to cooperate and send pictures to my computer.  Here are a few videos to tide you over.  Hehe.

Love my cutie munchkin girl!!!!

Pigtails, Yogurt, and Containers!

Happy March!  I know, it's come down to about one post a month.  I really need to get on this!  I mean, it's not like I've been busy chasing a toddler around or anything.

Right.

So, the last time I posted was actually on the day of Liv's 15 month doctor's appointment.  A few days after that, the fun stomach sickness began!  *note sarcasm*  She was throwing up only at night for about a week and then it switched to the other end and has been having that fun ever since.  Today has been the first day that Liv has actually seemed back to normal... so I'm hoping we're on the mend.  I've had enough of all of this fun.

So, sorry for not posting.  February has been exhausting!

Here are some highlights in pictures.  Liv likes to be IN everything!  :-)

Baby in a wagon!

Her own ball pit!

Ball pit at My Gym... 'Have a red ball, Momma!'

Hehe, I love her little feet sticking up.  She was all kinds of stuck in the ball pit and loving every minute of it.  :-)

Disheveled baby in at tupperware bowl... she somehow figured out that she could sit in it.
Baby in a box!

PIGTAILS!!!!!!!!

Aw, I can't wait until she has enough hair to braid and do all kinds of fun things with!  So exciting for Momma!

Yogurt Fun!  :-)

Using a spoon is fun and messy!

Lounging on Daddy :-)
Loving on Momma and Snuffy... :-)
Here's hoping March is a healthier month!  :-)
