Meet Duncan James! :-)
Born on May 12th at 3:54pm, he was 8 lbs 8 oz and 21 inches long... and cute as can be.

Everything happened in a whirlwind and Duncan was here lickety split! He was going to be induced on the morning of the 13th because my doctor thought he was measuring big, so I'm glad he showed up on the 12th instead. I started having contractions around 10am that morning that were actually measurable. At around 11:30, I texted Jimmy and told him he should probably come home and put Grandma Joyce on alert to come get Livvie! We decided to call the doctor around 1 and they said to come in and get checked out... so we finished packing our hospital bag and headed out. At 2, we were in the hospital waiting room getting ready to check in and when I sat down, my water broke. By the time they checked me, I was about 5cm and having pretty strong contractions. Around 3:30, we got to the labor & delivery room (they made me walk there since I apparently seemed fine) and at that point I decided it was epidural time... which changed once they prepped me... baby decided to come without an epidural. It was pretty painful, but Duncan was here in just a few pushes.
Recovery so far has been cake compared to recovery with Liv. I would highly recommend going naturally, if possible! You know, if you're having a baby and all.
Anyway, that was maybe more information than you wanted to know... but here are some more cute pics of the newest little Maley. :-)

So, it hasn't yet been two weeks since Duncan's arrival... but we are doing pretty well. Everyone is adjusting and we are all enjoying our new little guy. :-)
