The Blue Monster!

Despite my hopes that Olivia would find one of the many little lovey blankets, stuffed animals, etc. cute and to her liking... she has chosen to carry around this little stuffed monster with her wherever she goes.  I'd say that the cow is a close second as her favorite.  See picture below:

I think I've posted that picture before, but I just want to give you an idea of how much she loves this monster.  There's even a green one, but she doesn't like him at all.  Just the blue one.

This is how she usually carries him around...

That happens to be a walrus, I know... but the monster must not have been around at the time or I guarantee he would have been in her mouth instead.  She's pretty clever to carry them around like that, haha.  Our little puppy!

Anyway, this is a video of the monster feeding Olivia some zucchini.  If you've been following the blog at all, you know that Livvie decided a while ago that she didn't like zucchini.  She tasted it again the other day and wasn't too keen on it until this!  :-)

Reading!

Livvie has been on a book kick lately... mainly she likes to chew on them and sometimes flip the pages.  I can't help but smile and be a little happy that she's at least showing some interest.  :-)

Her favorite!  Moo, Baa, La La La! by Sandra Boynton :-)
We got Livvie a little walker thing because she's been climbing up on everything and crusing around on the couches.  We figured we could either wait until her birthday (when she might not be interested in it anymore) or just get it now when it can help her learn to walk.  It has a little keyboard and cell phone on it, too.  We were kinda hoping that would make some of the appeal of our cell phones go away... haha.  So far she seems to like it, but it's a little fast for her.  She'll get there!  :-)

I really need to get a video of her "high-stepping" walk.  It's pretty darn cute!

Here's another video, just for fun...

I have another video that I'll put HERE as soon as I upload it from my video camera.  See, it's a little bit overwhelming having too many things that can take pictures and video (video camera, phone, regular camera, and waterproof video camera).  It basically means that I have them scattered around and just grab whatever's handy to capture baby cuteness... which is a little tricky when I try to collect everything to blog!

Until next time... :-)

Cuteness Overload!

...and now for another post!  With some actual updates.  When last I posted, I don't know if I made any mention of the fact that I'm staying home with Olivia this year.  Yay!  :-)  Here she is helping me clean out my kindergarten room:

She was a fantastic helper!  NOT.  Hehe.  She just wanted to crawl every which direction, as long as it was taking her to someplace/something she shouldn't be playing with (i.e. glue sticks, brad fasteners, the bottom shelf of a cart, etc.).  It took me 6 days, but my kindergarten room is cleaned out and stored in Danyelle and Phillip's basement.

(I have a picture of the crazy stack that I'll post as soon as I figure out how to get it from my phone to computer... it's not emailing right now.  Silly picture!)

I do not look forward to the day when we have to move things back out... merely because they're pretty heavy.  Who knows what the future will bring?  (You know, aside from a happier Momma and in turn, a happier Daddy and Livvie).  Funny how that works.  ;-)

Last weekend we took Olivia to Annie's Playground for a little walk and then a little swing on the baby swings.  Prepare yourself... below is an adorable video of a giggly, swinging baby!

So pretty in her little hat.  :-)

Here we are!

If you can't tell, she love love loved the swing.  She had a huge smile and giggled the whole time!  Well, until she started chewing on the swing instead.  Hehe.  What fun!

This next little video is of Livvie trying to get into the snack cup for some puffs.  She hasn't quite figured out how to put her hand in and get any... but if you shake the cup enough, they come out!

'I'm eating puffs with my cow and my monster...'  :-)
The cow and monster are her new favorite toys.  She chews on their limbs constantly and crawls all over the place after them if you dangle them!  Hehe.

Mischeivous baby climbing all over everything...
One more video!  Olivia can use a spoon!  :-)

More Baptism Pictures

These baptism pictures were taken by my dad, the wonderful photographer.  :-)

Happy 9 Month Birthday!

Holy moly, this baby was hard to photograph this morning!  I'm glad it's Saturday and Jimmy was home to help get her attention... plus, we did it first thing so she was pretty happy.  :-)  This picture was our favorite, but it took total trickery to get it!  Hehe.

Olivia, you are amazing!  I can't believe that a month ago you couldn't even sit up by yourself.  Now you're crawling, pulling yourself up to standing on just about everything, and even doing a little crusing around on the sofas (and Mommy and Daddy).  You are everywhere and into everything!  You are a happy baby, except when we think your teeth might be coming in, and we love how you shake everything you can get your hands on.  You are the best!  :-)

Here are some other pictures I took this morning for your enjoyment...

Livvie playing with Shlevnik, my Russian cow.

Daddy serenading on guitar... not sure what song, but at one point he did play some 'Old MacDonald'.

Happy 9 Month Birthday, Livvie!  We love you!!!  <3

Monsters and Baby Kisses

Happy August!  :-)

Watching Sesame Street with my monster...

Shake it!  :-)

Please note the barricade... hehe, baby on the move!

I threw in this picture because we were watching Sesame Street, which I love, and Elmo was talking about how to go to sleep.  I enjoyed the mattress, pillow, and bird's nest with big eyes.  :-)

Just chewing on my monster...
I also had some fun today taking some pictures with my front-facing camera on my phone.  Livvie LOVES looking at herself in the phone, so I took the opportunity to snap some photos.  Hehe.

A good day.  :-)
